N.O. business owner: It took more than a day for police to take report after break-in, theft

I called 911 to let them know tt my business has been broken into and that I needed help out here because I didn't know what or who was inside of the store. The thief had already taken offh sentimental items and
the cash register, leaving behind a few coins on the floor and the shop a wreck. Out on trying to do a recovery
on the store, I'm thinking upwards over
$10,000, EULA says. She waited on police to arrive, and we waited, and we
waited and we waited. We reached out to the NYPD to understand what took so long.
