The Hawaii Five-0 series
aired in the United States from 2010 to 2020. However, not all characters stayed with viewers over the entire ten years. A big shock to viewers was
the departure of Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park after season seven. The cast of "Chin Ho Kelly" and
"Kono Kalakaua" left the series after allegedly receiving a lower salary than the rest
of the main cast. Both team members left the task force to join teams in other cities. "Chin Ho" went to San Francisco and
"Kono" moved to Nevada. Another main character left the show in season seven. "Dr. Max Bergman, played by Masi Oka, went to Africa with Doctors Without Borders. Masi's exit from Hawaii Five-0 was
voluntary. As he revealed to TV Guide, he
couldn't and didn't want to constantly commute to Hawaii for filming anymore. "Jenna Kaye", played by Larisa Oleynik, had a
few surprises in store for the audience. Believing that the villain "Wo
Fat" is holding her fiancé captive, she turned against the task force and kidnapped "McGarrett". However, when she realized that "Fat" had
killed her fiancé, she helped "McGarrett " escape and was then shot by "Fat".
Another character didn't get a happy ending. "Lori Weston" left the show
after the first season. Played by Lauren German, the character fell in love with "McGarrett," but he didn't feel the same way about her. Eventually she left the team..
